For The Newbies - DON'T PANIC!

(Hi, this is me - Donna Maree and I'm pleased to meet you!)

Just some quick information and explanations for the first time or newish 'Stamper'.

Please keep an eye out on my blog for a Youtube Channel that I am hoping to have up and loaded in the near future. I will post the link on my blog.

I  will be showing you the items that I think will help you to get started without breaking the bank account and giving you heart palpitations.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND - YOU DON'T NEED TO PURCHASE EVERYTHING AT ONCE OR STRAIGHT AWAY!😮

When you first get started there will be expressions and words such as; DSP's, Kits, Product Medley's, Collections, Bundles, Suites, Mini Catalogue, Annual Catalogue and colour combo's that may very well have your head spinning, and there is very much more than those few things that I have just mentioned.

DON'T PANIC! 😵

So, you've heard about card making. You've thought about it, wondered about it, checked out some cards on Pinterest, Youtube maybe, looked it up online but can't make head nor tail of it.

Let me help a little.

You can go to the shops and purchase cards for any occasion. How many times have you spent ages looking through the myriad of cards available but end up settling on the one closest to what you want? It's not exactly right but it will have to do. How many times have you been about to walk out the door to go to a function, you have a gift but....argghh forgot a card!

Wouldn't you love to have a stash of cards ready and waiting or have the product available to quickly throw one together for exactly the right occasion? Well you can, easily and have a terrific, relaxing and fun hobby at the same time.

The easiest way to get started and learn along the way is to start with what Stampin' Up!® call their 'All-Inclusive Card Kits'.

If you click on the link below this will take you over to my website which has the information you will need to get started.

Click on SHOP NOW at the top right hand side of the page and hover your mouse over SHOP PRODUCTS on the left hand side at the top of the screen. Scroll down to All Inclusive Kits. The only kits available that are   all inclusive   are the Looking Up Card Kit, Simply Citrus Card Kit and Hello Dear Friend Card Kit. These have everything you need to make 15 cards with envelopes. All instructions are included as are the stamps and ink (where required). It's a great way to get started and very reasonably priced.

OK, so some of those words and expressions I told you about above, here we go;

Annual Catalogue - Stampin' Up!® release an Annual Catalogue that contains their continuous, always available items from every category of stamps, inks, embellishments, cardstock and Designer Series Paper.

Mini Catalogue - Stampin' Up!® release a Mini Catalogue twice a year which includes any specialty items, new releases, one off product releases and seasonal items. On occasion some of these items may be carried over and put into the following years Annual Catalogue depending on how popular they become, others are exactly that, one off and will disappear never to be seen again. Well, that might be a bit harsh but they can no longer be purchased through Stampin' Up!®.

DSP - this is short for Designer Series Paper. Stampin' Up!® have the most beautiful papers for making your cards. The majority of Designer Series Papers are double sided and both sides compliment each other beautifully. They come in packs of either 12" x 12" sheets or 6" x 6" sheets.

Colour Combinations - This is where Stampin' Up!® are absolutely amazing. EVERYTHING COORDINATES. If you use their Designer Series Paper, their cardstock, Blends Markers, Stampin' Write Markers, Ink Pads, Reinkers, Embellishments and any other items all have matching colours.

Project Kits - These kits have the basic 'bones' to make your projects be it cards, scrap booking or other crafting that you enjoy. It does make suggestions as to other items you may need to purchase to complete your project.

Project Suites - These are the full combination of Designer Series Paper, Card Packs, Envelopes, Embellishments, Markers or Blends, Stamps, Acrylic Blocks, Dies and Ink pad. Everything in one colour or one design...co-ordinates perfectly.

Bundles - Generally bundles are a combination of a Stamp Set with the coordinating Dies.
