A Little About Me

I am an Independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
I am a mum of three children and Nanna to five beautiful grand babies. My husband Craig and I have two sons and a daughter. Their ages 32, 30 and 28. Our eldest son has a beautiful four year old son and a beautiful four month old son, our youngest daughter also has a beautiful four year old son as well as a beautiful three year old son and a nine month old son. Our middle son is still working hard and has not taken time out to start a family as yet. All in good time.
After living in Singapore for six/seven years due to hubby's work, we returned to Australia for our eldest son to complete year 12 here and our other two children to complete their schooling in Australia also.
We live on two acres with a beautiful cottage at the back of our property we run as an Air B & B. Between our children, grandchildren, Stampin’ Up!® and B & B plus loving to travel, we are kept pretty busy. Now with myself deciding to take Stampin’ Up!® further and create a small business, we are so much more busy than ever!
We have in the past had two labrador dogs, Jessie a yellow female and Wallace a black male. Jessie was with us for thirteen years until age (as with all of us) caught up with her and regardless of medication, injections and anything else the vet had in his armory, arthritis and illness made her life terribly painful and miserable. Our vet eventually had the difficult chat with us about letting her go. So with my husband, myself and our three children with her, Jessie was put to sleep. This is still very raw for all of us even though it was nearly two years ago.  After having her cremated, she has a special place in our garden with a memorial iron cross my blacksmith husband made for her.

We still have our nine year old black lab, Wallace. Wallace came to us as an eight week old puppy through Guide Dogs Victoria. We were puppy raisers. Wallace attended all of his classes and training until he turned approx. fourteen months old. It was at that age that Guide Dogs Victoria discovered, during one of his health checks, that he had a very small cataract in one eye which made him unable to continue training as a guide dog. He is the most beautiful, calm dog and I was thrilled when Guide Dogs Victoria allowed us to purchase him as a companion dog for me since I have Multiple Sclerosis. I felt so blessed. Even now as I am typing this, he is laying down beside me in my office.
I have been with Stampin’ Up!® since 2015 after being introduced to the products and falling in love with EVERYTHING Stampin’ Up!® I did resign approximately two years ago but re-signed within a few months upon realising leaving Stampin’ Up!® was, in fact, not what I wanted to do. I re-signed upon making the decision to make the hobby I love into a small business.
I have had two small groups of ladies (ranging from one monthly group of five ladies (sometimes seven)) and another more local fortnightly group of four ladies.
I am in the midst of setting up to begin on-line classes to make it easier, in these difficult times, for my groups to continue to attend classes with making sure everyone is kept safe but able to continue to enjoy their crafting.
